Not seeing much coverage on this one on the main stream media, but then again, I wouldn't have expected anything less from them. The Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency, or ICE, has issued a new policy aimed at decreasing, yes I said decreasing deportation of illegal immigrants! This could lead to thousands of deportation cases being thrown out that are already in process and continue to enable the illegals to find a back door into the country. The new ruling is aimed at people who are related to legal US citizens, who have received some form of written sponsorship. Apparently criminals would be excluded from this new policy. Really, aren't they all criminals? Didn't they all break federal law by illegally entering our country? Basically, they are getting a free pass for laws that they have already broken.
The policy was implemented to improve efficiencies and assist the ICE agents in removing "convicted" criminals. According to this article at Fox News, ICE has already deported over 150,000 illegal immigrants with criminal records. If the mere fact that we have deported over 150,000 illegal immigrants with criminal convictions doesn't make you realize we have a national security issue over border security, than you will never "get it". You simply don't respond well to common sense.
