THE MADNESS OF A LOST SOCIETY - GOD HELP US

Child Emperor Plays Basketball While North Korea And China Scheme

I think it is fair to say that our American Child Emperor is not engaged by the Commander-in-Chief part of his job. He has two gears and no other—he is either a frenzied campaign performance artist or a routine White House slouch who intersperses his smoke breaks with meaningless basketball games played by middle-aged men.

The American public is being fed unconscionable drivel to convince them that all is well, that what we have here is just a few savages misbehaving over some borderland. That is a perilously foolish meme. Why, because Tehran is a client of Kim Jung-Il’s nuclear program. North Korea's apparent upgrade to its nuclear-fuel production capabilities is raising fears among lawmakers and proliferation experts about Pyongyang's potential role in supplying Iran and others with the sophisticated machinery.

The Democratic People’s Republic of Korea executed the missile attacks on South Korea with cunning and their target was innocent people. Their handiwork, which Beijing knew about beforehand, left two South Korean marines and two civilians dead and another eighteen injured. Little Shi Mina (pictured here) was playing on her tricycle when a shell crashed through a roof on the opposite side of the road where she was playing and erupted into a fireball. The windows of her home were blown out as her frantic father scrambled to pull her to safety. She has been in shock ever since.

Deploying the USS George Washington to the Yellow Sea does not answer the scheming, immovable feudal regime of Kim Jung-Il and his dim son. The US treaties with Tokyo and Seoul are nearly worthless. The situation between the Koreas is fragile, dangerous and unacceptable.

I encourage you to read what Gordon G. Chang, author of Nuclear Showdown: North Korea Takes On the World and The Coming Collapse of China has to say about Jung-Il’s promotion of “songun” .

Only in California - Rat Rescue: 1,000 Up for Adoption

Abortions on demand, euthanizing dogs and cats at will yet rescuing rats?

I cannot speak for the other 49 States (leaving out CA) but here in Michigan we KILL rats. Hell, at one time there were bounties on their heads in the City of Detroit to the tune of $1.00 / dead rat.

Spooky Dude Pissed Away A Fortune On A “Bad Investment”

Hinting darkly that the Rambler-in-Chief may not have his support for much longer, George Soros, the Hungarian-American financier said “We have just lost this election, we need to draw a line and if this president can't do what we need, it is time to start looking somewhere else." Uh oh. When Daddy’s not happy, nobody’s happy.

Soros, speaking to an annual gathering of Democracy Alliance, told the progressives that he is "used to fighting losing battles but doesn't like to lose without fighting."

Requests for comment from the White House were not returned, though a Democratic operative sympathetic to the administration said that Soros's dissatisfaction with the White House was "hardly news." Sources who relayed that and other exchanges insisted on anonymity, citing the strict rules against talking to the press that come with being part of the gathering.

The election results have the partners in the Democracy Alliance scurrying like rats to find a way to change the rules. So, if you thought we had seen ugly, think again.

Anna Burger, retired treasury secretary of SEIU said, "Instead of being pushed over by this election it has empowered people to stand up in a bigger way."

Look out America. You stood and delivered in the 2010 mid-terms. The courage we must muster for 2012 will be a thousand-fold greater. Have you the courage for this fight?

Fear of Flying..

(Posted by The War Planner)

Drudge ran this picture on his site today over the [highly appropriate] headline: "The Terrorists Have Won!"

That and the video of the 30-year-old having a meltdown when one of those insensitive, behemoth, trapezoidal TSA matrons groped her during a pat-down below, have conspired to send us all over the edge in revolt:

The conundrum is whether to board an aircraft with some Mooz-lem turban-wearing sonofabitch whose got a C-4 codpiece or face off against a TSA matron wearing rubber gloves, glaring at us, and and asking, "Scope or grope?"

And so we submit to these indignities what then? The x-ray and the pat-downs get under the clothes and down to the skin. What happens if some camel jockey decides that he needs an RDX enema to pull off his one-way to the paradise And the 72 virgin goats? Will the TSA Trapezoid be squeezing K-Y jelly on her gloved forefingers and not offering the scope as an alternative?

Ugh! Pass the brain bleach! Mrs War Planner and I will be taking our next trip to Japan via slow boat to China, thank you.
Waggishly, the Minnesota Majority has come out with a video on the subject:

Cute..but I'd like to suggest they use another tune from The Who's rock opera Tommy that is more appropriate for the toddler-tickling that the TSA does:

    I'm your wicked Uncle Ernie
I'm glad you won't see or hear me
    As I fiddle about
    Fiddle about
    Fiddle about !

Your mother left me here to mind you
Now I'm doing what I want to
    Fiddling about
    Fiddling about
    Fiddle about!

PACMAN To Be His Own Lawyer

In a rare House ethics trial set to start this morning, November 15, 2010, Congressman Charles Rangel will be defending himself against thirteen alleged ethics violations, and he is going to do it on his own.

The allegations forced Rangel to step down from his powerful position as chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee—a dramatic fall for a man once counted among the most influential politicians in the country.

Rangel raided the coffers of his National Leadership PAC for $293,000 to pay his main legal-defense team this year. He took another $100,000 from the PAC in 2009 to pay lawyer Lanny Davis.

On top of the $393,000 in PAC funds, records show Rangel yanked $1.4 million from his campaign coffers in 2009 and 2010 to pay the firm Zuckerman Spaeder, his main legal-defense team, and $100,000 in 2009 to pay Davis' firm.

He also spent $147,577 for Washington, DC, lawyer John Kern and $174,303 for Watkins, Meegan, Drury & Co., a firm that offers forensic accounting and legal services.

"I already notified them that as a result of them taking so long that I have exhausted my abilities to raise the funds which are necessary to move on," said Rangel. "All I do is just ask for the time to be heard and I am confident that at the end of the day my constituents' faith in me, as demonstrated by their overwhelming vote, will be well-founded."

EXIT QUESTION: Are voters in Harlem like Pavlov’s dog? Until Scott Brown hit the scene, voters in Massachusetts continued to vote for Teddy Kennedy and we all how that turned out.

Mary Jo Kopechne could not be reached for comment.

O’Donnell Censored by Local Television?

From the O'Donnell campaign:
Wilmington, DE – An Election Eve television outreach by Delaware Republican Senate nominee Christine O’Donnell was not aired as scheduled, even though the campaign paid for the advertising last week. O’Donnell campaign spokesman Doug Sachtleben offered the following statement:

“It’s still unclear as to why the local cable channel failed to air the half-hour long special. Our hope is that this is not another case of the liberal media or political dirty tricks trying to silence Christine’s message to the voters of Delaware.

“Christine announced the broadcast during yesterday’s rally in Wilmington, and it was scheduled to run at 11:30 p.m. Sunday and again at 10 a.m. today. But, the channel did not air the powerful ad at either scheduled time. We are very disappointed that an ad, which the campaign paid for last week, was not aired as scheduled.”

Washington Post article: O’Donnell has trouble airing 30-minute TV ad in Delaware
