Jerry Seib, Assistant Managing Editor of the Wall Street Journal, tries valiantly [see video embedded below] to depict America’s Child Emperor as the second coming of Ronald Reagan. Mr. Seib, this country knew Ronald Reagan and he, sir, is no Ronald Reagan.

Obama is a crooked dealer in a backroom poker game. Neither a negotiator nor a compromiser. He merely took advantage of a hobbled 111th Congress in a lame duck session. He played what amounted to an ace he had hidden up his sleeve.

The Democrats are stuck with this riverboat gambler for two more years and must spend that time searching haplessly for a way out of the trap they set for themselves when they and the state-sponsored media apparatchik failed to vet him.

Earlier in his term, the Child Emperor had left the details of signature issues such as health care and the stimulus package to congressional leaders. After what he called a "shellacking" in the midterms, he took charge of tax negotiations, risking the wrath of his liberal base to win a deal with Republicans quickly.

He pressed forward with a ratification vote on the New Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty with Russia with lukewarm support from Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV). Even some members of his White House had misgivings over the timing, according to officials in the regime.

What we are now witnessing is not POTUS Version 2.0, but rather a president-in-training casting himself as heeding the wishes of voters who demanded bipartisanship when they delivered a “shellacking” to the Democratic Party in the midterm elections.

He has no grit. My apologies to John Wayne.

Surprise! Obama Backs Ground Zero Mosque

What a shocker. Our first Muslim President backs a shrine to the 9/11 terrorists.

Obama elevated it to a presidential issue Friday without equivocation.

While insisting that the place where the twin towers once stood was indeed "hallowed ground," Obama said that the proper way to honor it was to apply American values.

Ummm, No.

The proper way to honor the 3000 killed at Ground Zero is to build a memorial to the victims and heros of that day, not a mosque that will in effect be a monument to what those in Islam believe to be a triumph over America. But then you don't need me to explain that to you. You know full well what it means and are a perfectly willing accomplice in the attempt at Islamifying America and lying about the role of Muslims in our history.

Sorry, Mr. Obama, but there were no Muslims among the passengers on the Mayflower or the settlers at Jamestown. Muslims were conspicuously absent from the ranks of George Washington’s Army of the Revolution and played no role in the creation of the American republic...

If you will lie about your faith. What won't you lie about? Isn't it S.O.P. for Muslims to lie in order to infiltrate their enemies' rank and file?

We are besieged on all fronts and still most of America ignores the truth or is ignorant or silent.

America should show the world we will not stand for the desecration of our landmarks and the introduction and implementation of Islamic law in America. The first step to eradicating this threat to our American way of life should be the impeachment of Barack Hussein Obama, who clearly stands against our Constitution and every American tradition and value we hold sacred.

The Messiah Finally Found A “Church Home” He Likes

Shortly after President Golfbags was inaugurated, NBC’s Matt Lauer asked, “why his family hasn't found a church to attend yet in their new adopted home of Washington, D.C.”

In his lengthy interview that aired on the Today show, as Lauer and Obama strolled down the main White House corridor, Obama blamed how he and Michelle would be “very disruptive to services,” but he's taken advantage of how “there was a prayer circle of pastors from across the country who during the campaign would, would say a prayer for me or send a devotional.” So:

“We've kept that habit up and, and it's a wonderful group because it's a mix of some very conservative pastors, some very liberal pastors, but all who, you know, pray for me and Michelle and, and the girls and, and I get a daily devotional on my BlackBerry which is a, is a wonderful thing.”

To which, an impressed Lauer approved: “Its spirituality meets high-tech! That's pretty good.”

President Barack Hussein Obama on Friday, August 13, 2010 forcefully endorsed building a mosque near Ground Zero, saying the country's founding principles demanded no less.

Rep. Peter King is the first elected official to respond, with this statement:

“President Obama is wrong. It is insensitive and uncaring for the Muslim community to build a mosque in the shadow of Ground Zero. While the Muslim community has the right to build the mosque they are abusing that right by needlessly offending so many people who have suffered so much. The right and moral thing for President Obama to have done was to urge Muslim leaders to respect the families of those who died and move their mosque away from Ground Zero. Unfortunately the President caved into political correctness.”

Jennifer Rubin captures the sentiment of most of America with this comment:

“Obama has shown his true sentiments now, after weeks of concealing them, on an issue of deep significance to not only the families and loved ones of 3,000 slaughtered Americans but of the vast majority of his fellow citizens. He has once again revealed himself to be divorced from the values and concerns of his countrymen. He is entirely—and to too many Americans, horridly—a creature of the left with little ability to make moral distinctions. He sympathies for the Muslim World take precedence over those, such as they are, for his fellow citizens. This is nothing short of an abomination.”

On March 9, 2008, in an interview with New York Times’ Nicholas D. Kristof, Obama said, “…the Muslim call to prayer is “one of the prettiest sounds on earth at sunset”.

If the Ground Zero mosque is ever built—it’s scheduled to open on the tenth anniversary of the day a hole was punched in the heart of New York City—then Fearless Reader can jaunt to the mosque on Air Force One and the Muslim World will have won its reign of terror on America.
