The more candid in the Left’s blogosphere get that the Democrats are in very big trouble. David Corn, for example, confesses: “It doesn’t appear that Obama has forged and maintained that sort of bond with a majority of voters. Democrats were hoping that a summer economic turn-around would ease the way toward the fall elections. But no such harvest is looming.” They have only figured this out recently? Well, denial is an attractive coping mechanism. And there is reason not to freak out donors and activists with predictions of impending doom.
However, reality is seeping in, and candor is breaking out after months and months of pooh-poohing polls, assuring themselves ObamaCare was essential to their political survival, and lamely trying to sow dissention in Republican ranks (Tea Party vs. mainstream GOP!). Despondency may follow.
As the dismal news piles up and liberals give up the pretense that the economic and electoral outlook is bright, how much worse will the polling get for those Democrats on the ballot in November? And do the pollsters have models to gauge just how depressed the Democrats’ turnout will be? We’ll see, but Democrats are wise, I think, to prepare themselves for the deluge.

My thought on this? Where's Richard III when you really need him?
This is NYC on Madison Ave
I don't think this is a "politically correct" issue. It is a carefully constructed plan to take over our country. They have already had their own president elected.
A Christian Nation cannot put up a Christmas scene of the baby Jesus in a public place, but the Muslims can stop normal traffic every Friday afternoon by worshiping in the streets... Something is happening in America that is reminiscent of what is happening in Europe. This is Political Correctness gone crazy...
This is an accurate picture of every Friday afternoon in several locations throughout NYC where there are mosques with a large number of Muslims that cannot fit into the mosque - They fill the surrounding streets, facing east for a couple of hours between about 2 & 4 p.m. - Besides this one at 42nd St & Madison Ave, there is another, even larger group, at 94th St & 3rd Ave, etc.
This is in New York City on Madison Avenue, not in France or the Middle Is there a message here???? Yes, there is, and they are claiming America for Allah. if we don't wake up soon, we are going to "politically correct" ourselves right out of our own country!
Not seeing much coverage on this one on the main stream media, but then again, I wouldn't have expected anything less from them. The Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency, or ICE, has issued a new policy aimed at decreasing, yes I said decreasing deportation of illegal immigrants! This could lead to thousands of deportation cases being thrown out that are already in process and continue to enable the illegals to find a back door into the country. The new ruling is aimed at people who are related to legal US citizens, who have received some form of written sponsorship. Apparently criminals would be excluded from this new policy. Really, aren't they all criminals? Didn't they all break federal law by illegally entering our country? Basically, they are getting a free pass for laws that they have already broken.
The policy was implemented to improve efficiencies and assist the ICE agents in removing "convicted" criminals. According to this article at Fox News, ICE has already deported over 150,000 illegal immigrants with criminal records. If the mere fact that we have deported over 150,000 illegal immigrants with criminal convictions doesn't make you realize we have a national security issue over border security, than you will never "get it". You simply don't respond well to common sense.

Late to the dance on this one, but in a post that the Left Coast Rebel did on The War Planner site, he ran that repugnant photograph of all those clowns in the house parading out in public after they rammed through one aspect of the oppressive ObamaCare -- just to get in our faces. What is especially nauseating is the image of that 70-year-old bitch, strutting in the streets of DC with her big gavel.
She's so goddamned proud of that thing, ain't she?
I just hope we can keep this and the other images of these idiots in our minds when we go to the poles this November..
..and I just hope there's a picture of her handing that hammer over to Boehner or some other Republican because her Dem turd majority has been flushed.

This morning I wrapped up a Daily Caller piece that I had been working on since last night. It parallels my previous Daily Caller piece on effective global warming rebuttal and works in various angles on leftist James Cameron as well.
Here's an excerpt:
What do you think? Read the article here at the Daily Caller and please pass it along to various social media outlets.
“Titanic” film director James Cameron quickly went for the oft-traversed intellectual low road of ad hominem attacks, recently attacking skeptics of global warming as those of piggish DNA.
“I think they’re swine,” said Cameron to the American Renewable Energy Day Summit in Aspen Sunday night. Laughingly, Cameron piggishly proclaimed “swine” just moments after receiving eco-ovations from the environmental Aspen crowd.
Why? He had praised a that extolled the evils of a proposed hydropower project in Brazil that would ostensibly “displace a large tribal community,” therefore violating even more sacred limousine liberal codes: group identity and the hatred of capitalism.
Hydropower is “clean” by most mainstream standards, so go figure....

Dale Roe is the man behind Project 2996, a labor of love he began in 2006. Dale set out to create a “blog burst” by encouraging bloggers to post a tribute to one or more of the 2,996 victims of 9/11. He felt it was critical to remember their names rather than their murderers. Their barbarism will stand as their shame for all eternity.
On that horrible day, in the face of such great sorrow, we united as a people.
On September 11, 2006, more than 3,000 bloggers joined together to remember the victims of 9/11. Last year, I created tributes for eighteen of those 2,996.
Project 2996: Remembering Arthur Joseph Jones, III
Project 2996: Remembering Abraham J. "Abe" Zelmanowitz
Project 2996: Remembering Elkin Yuen
Project 2996: Remembering Mary Alice Wahlstrom

Project 2996: Remembering Howard Lee Kane
Project 2996: Remembering Harry Glenn
Project 2996: Remembering Emerita "Emy" De La Pena
Project 2996: Remembering Margaret L. Benson
This year, I will again remember a life taken on that day. The victims were someone’s mother, father, brother, sister, husband, wife…
“Time is passing. Yet, for the United States of America, there will be no forgetting September the 11th. We will remember every rescuer who died in honor. We will remember every family that lives in grief. We will remember the fire and ash, the last phone calls, the funeral of the children.”—President George W. Bush, November 11, 2001

After reading this article, I started to wonder what would happen here in the US, if this type of law was imposed on some of our more notorious crooks. Below are a few of my favorites
- Rod Blagojevich- Sentenced to hours of watching episodes of the apprentice, starring RB himself
- Mel Gibson- 5 minutes in cell block C in Attica
- Marion Berry- Required to snort a pound of coke off of a hookers smelly butt
- Jessie Jackson and Al Sharpton would be required to spend some QT with some real racist so they understood what it was actually all about.
- Bill Clinton- Provided some soap and water to hand wash Monica's dress; apparently she cannot afford the quarter for the wash
- Nancy Pelosi- Give her a mirror!
- Ted Kennedy- Teach swim classes

Literally, "Who will guard the guards themselves?", have you ever wondered about those flame responses citing snopes.com as an authoritarian debunker of the e-mail and internet stories, claims and other incredible particles we come across on our journey down electron-strewn corridors.
I got the following snopes debunking just the other day:
For the past few years (http://www.snopescom/ has positioned itself, or others have labeled it, as the 'tell-all final word' on any comment, claim and email. But for several years people tried to find out who exactly was behind snopes.com. Only recently did Wikipedia get to the bottom of it - kinda makes you wonder what they were hiding. Well, finally we know. It is run by a husband and wife team - that's right, no big office of investigators and researchers, no team of lawyers. It's just a mom-and-pop operation that began as a hobby. David and Barbara Mikkelson in the San Fernando Valley of California started the website about 13 years ago and they have no formal background or experience in investigative research. After a few years it gained popularity believing it to be unbiased and neutral, but over the past couple of years people started asking questions who was behind it and did they have a selfish motivation?
The reason for the questions - or skepticisms - is a result of snopes.com claiming to have the bottom line facts to certain questions or issue when in fact they have been proven wrong. Also, there were criticisms the Mikkelsons were not really investigating and getting to the 'true' bottom of various issues.
A few months ago, when my State Farm agent Bud Gregg in Mandeville hoisted a political sign referencing Barack Obama and made a big splash across the Internet, 'supposedly' the Mikkelson's claim to have researched this issue before posting their findings on snopes.com. In their statement they claimed the corporate office of State Farm pressured Gregg into taking down the sign, when in fact nothing of the sort 'ever' took place. I personally contacted David Mikkelson (and he replied back to me) thinking he would want to get to the bottom of this and I gave him Bud Gregg's contact phone numbers - and Bud was going to give him phone numbers to the big exec's at State Farm in Illinois who would have been willing to speak with him about it. He never called Bud. In fact, I learned from Bud Gregg that no one from snopes.com ever contacted anyone with State Farm.
Yet, snopes.com issued a statement as the 'final factual word' on the issue as if they did all their homework and got to the bottom of things - not!
Then it has been learned the Mikkelson's are very Democratic (party) and extremely liberal. As we all now know from this presidential election, liberals have a purpose agenda to discredit anything that appears to be conservative. There has been much criticism lately over the Internet with people pointing out the Mikkelson's liberalism revealing itself in their website findings. Gee, what a shock?
So, I say this now to everyone who goes to snopes.com to get what they think to be the bottom line fact 'proceed with caution.' Take what it says at face value and nothing more. Use it only to lead you to their references where you can link to and read the sources for yourself. Plus, you can always Google a subject and do the research yourself. It now seems apparent that's all the Mikkelson's do. After all, I can personally vouch from my own experience for their 'not' fully looking into things.
http://http//www.wikipedia.org/ or http://http//www.snopes.com/
I have found this to be true also! Many videos of Obama I tried to verify on Snopes and they said they were False. Then they gave their liberal slant! I have suspected some problems with snopes for some time now, but I have only caught them in half-truths. If there is any subjectivity they do an immediate full left rudder.
Truth or Fiction, is a better source for verification, in my opinion.
I have recently discovered that Snopes.com is owned by a flaming liberal and this man is in the tank for Obama. There are many things they have listed on their site as a hoax and yet you can go to You tube yourself and find the video of Obama actually saying these things. So you see, you cannot and should not trust Snopes.com, ever for anything that remotely resembles truth! I don't even trust them to tell me if email chains are hoaxes anymore.
A few conservative speakers on Myspace told me about Snopes.com. A few months ago and I took it upon myself to do a little research to find out if it was true. Well, I found out for myself that it is true. Anyway just FYI please don't use Snopes.com anymore for fact checking and make your friends aware of their political leanings as well. Many people still think Snopes.com is neutral and they can be trusted as factual. We need to make sure everyone is aware that that is a hoax in itself.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'd heard this before.
But when I got to the signature block I almost fell off my chair. I knew this guy. Yeah, I worked as a contract computer programmer in the 80s and 90s and had a number of gigs through Alan Strong's company, CPS. So I will be seeking out Alan (if only to renew an old friendship) to find out what he knows and what documentation he has on his refutation of snopes. I am sure it will be interesting.
Not that I believe that snopes is a hoax. I mean, I can't believe that these folks are plotting to undermine conservative thought from their fortress in the San Fernando Valley. It's just I doubt everything some lib throws at me to debunk a story I have posted. It spoils all the fun.
Just for grins, I visited the WikiPedia entry on snopes and got this:
Snopes receives more complaints that it is too liberal than that it is too conservative, but insists that it applies the same debunking standards to all political stories. FactCheck reviewed a sample of Snopes' responses to political rumors regarding George W. Bush, Sarah Palin and Barack Obama, and found them to be free from bias in all cases. FactCheck noted that Barbara Mikkelson was a Canadian citizen (and thus unable to vote in American elections) and David Mikkelson was an independent who was once a registered Republican. "You’d be hard-pressed to find two more apolitical people," David Mikkelson told them.
..and then trundled off to Factcheck itself and found a rebuttal to the liberal meme that seemed to be imbued with even-handedness and redolent with citations and references. But I am a little taken aback by the masthead at FactCheck:
You notice it says "A PROJECT OF THE ANNENBERG PUBLIC POLICY CENTER"? Ain't them the guys who sponsor all of that NPR crapola? Then they must be a bastion of conservative thought, right?
So now I am all turned around and just don't know whom to believe. I think I need to put John Stossel on speed dial so I can adjudicate these things.
You know, I think Ronald Reagan probably said it best:
I'm going to get a drink. You want one while I am up?

I was listening to a Phone Town Hall meeting last week with my local congressman (Pat Tiberi), and the discussion was primarily focused on the health care bill. There were quite a few seniors who were quite concerned over the health care bill and were asking Mr Tiberi, some very direct questions. For the most part, the congressman was giving fairly standard answers, until there was a question about AARP and why they would support a bill, if it was so bad for senior citizens. His response surprised me bit, so I wrote the congressman for some more information. Basically, the response to the question was that due to the fact that AARP is the largest provider of supplemental insurance, they would ultimately benefit the most from cutbacks in Medicare Advantage (over $200 billion dollars). The information below is what I received back from the congressman's office.
The new health care law exempts AARP from:
- The prohibition on pre-existing condition exclusions, such that AARP can continue to impose waiting periods on vulnerable seniors with pre-existing conditions – as it does currently (Section 1201(2)(A), Page 81 of H.R. 3590);
- a $500,000 cap on executive compensation for insurance industry executives, so that AARP can continue to give its CEO more than $1 million in annual compensation – over 78 times the average annual Social Security benefit of $12,738 (Section 9014, Page 1995 of H.R. 3590);
- the tax on insurance companies that will total more than $14 billion per year – even though according to its own financial statements AARP generated more money from insurance industry “royalty fees” than it received from membership dues, grant revenues, and private contributions combined (Section 10905(d), Page 2395 of H.R. 3590); and
- a requirement imposed on Medicare Advantage plans to spend at least 85 percent of their premium dollars on medical claims – AARP Medigap policies are currently held to a far less restrictive 65 percent standard, and the difference can be used to fund “kickbacks” to AARP paid out of the pockets of its senior citizen members (Section 1103, Page 49 of H.R. 4872).
In a written response from the AARP COO Thomas C Nelson, AARP continuously avoided the question of how much money AARP was receiving as a result of this bill, or how much AARP would financially benefit from the cuts. Repeated answers from AARP to the questions were basically that the decision to support H.R. 3962 was not based upon any financial considerations, and AARP has not analyzed the data to understand the impact.
I have basically three questions:
- If AARP is not analyzing the data, how can you support a bill that you have no idea of the impact to your financial stability (both good or bad).?
- Has AARP been overcharging seniors all of these years for MEDIGAP policies; apparently there is no logic behind the fees being charges?
- Who will benefit from the reduction in dollars that can be saved by not spending on medical claims (65% versus 85%)?
Not wanting to sit there for 4 hours, I put on my

Via the Houston Chronicle:
Obama elevated it to a presidential issue Friday without equivocation.Ummm, No.
While insisting that the place where the twin towers once stood was indeed "hallowed ground," Obama said that the proper way to honor it was to apply American values.
The proper way to honor the 3000 killed at Ground Zero is to build a memorial to the victims and heros of that day, not a mosque that will in effect be a monument to what those in Islam believe to be a triumph over America. But then you don't need me to explain that to you. You know full well what it means and are a perfectly willing accomplice in the attempt at Islamifying America and lying about the role of Muslims in our history.
From Familiy Security Matters via Gateway Pundit:
Sorry, Mr. Obama, but there were no Muslims among the passengers on the Mayflower or the settlers at Jamestown. Muslims were conspicuously absent from the ranks of George Washington’s Army of the Revolution and played no role in the creation of the American republic...
If you will lie about your faith. What won't you lie about? Isn't it S.O.P. for Muslims to lie in order to infiltrate their enemies' rank and file?
We are besieged on all fronts and still most of America ignores the truth or is ignorant or silent.
America should show the world we will not stand for the desecration of our landmarks and the introduction and implementation of Islamic law in America. The first step to eradicating this threat to our American way of life should be the impeachment of Barack Hussein Obama, who clearly stands against our Constitution and every American tradition and value we hold sacred.

Recently I just happened to come across a brilliant conservative documentary titled Michael Moore Hates America via Netflix on the family Wii console. Filmed in 2004 but still highly relevant, the movie was charming, interesting, funny and best of all - entertaining. The flick didn't brow beat it's particular angle on iconic leftist Michael Moore but more or less laid things out in a fair way - despite the title.
After viewing Michael Moore Hates America (and loving it), I put on my Google-search-cap and hunted down director Mike Wilson's contact. I wanted to fire him off a atta-boy and a quick request for an interview. Proving that sometimes all you have to do is ask - Mr. Wilson quickly responded and accepted my invitation for a Q&A. The following may be best viewed after viewing the movie.
Catch the interview here.
